What does a grant consultant do?

They check which programmes fit your project, help with the outline and application, watch deadlines, funding rates and stacking rules and, if you wish, support reporting and claims. Only the funding body decides on the grant.

How much is the research allowance in 2026?

25% of eligible expenses, 35% for SMEs. Since 2026 up to €12,000,000 a year counts, and new projects get an overhead flat rate of 20%. Our calculator gives a first estimate.

How do consultancies get into the directory?

Basic listings come from publicly available Google Places data (as of Oct 2026) and were strictly filtered: grants, funding advice or the research allowance must appear in the business name or in the title of the firm's own website. Economic development agencies, chambers, banks and building energy advisers are not included. Firms can claim, update or remove their listing.
